McKinzie + JohnPiero | Black Swan | Milwaukee Wedding

I’ve always thought the idea of a NYE wedding would be so fun and definitely romantic, such a special anniversary to share every year! So I was thrilled when Kinzie + JP asked me to capture their wedding to ring in 2019! I knew the moment I met them that we would get along very well, they are adorable together and you just enjoy their company. Two very important things when working with a couple! Plus Kinzie told me she wanted their cake to be suspended from the ceiling, um, yes please! All of their dreams and envisions came to life and it was amazing to witness and capture! Every detail was beautifully rich and moody and incredibly unique. Walking into the reception gave everyone all the feelings! So happy for you both, may your marriage motto “ti amerò per sempre” see you through. Enjoy this… eek! larger ;) preview (so hard to choose!)

Beth + Connor | the Atrium | Milwaukee, Wedding

Sometimes I have to prompt a bride + groom when taking their photos, but not Beth + Connor. They are so comfortable around one another, they can’t help but smile and crack jokes and just enjoy the moment. It’s important to know their love story started when they were just teenagers. How amazing to find your person and change and grow so much with them, and then arrive here!…it was the sweetest, most anticipated celebration ever! Everyone that walked into the ceremony was so happy to see each other, hugs and shrieks of joy. I couldn’t get enough of the venue either, more rooftop greenhouses please! So excited for these two, I just loved capturing every moment of their day. Evening light during cocktail hour and the best dance floor. Congratulations to the newest Mr + Mrs Myers and both your families! Here’s a small preview, hope it gives you all those feelings again!

Sara + Dave | Wedding | SURG on the Water, Milwaukee

The sun shined so bright last Friday in Milwaukee and for more than one reason! Sometimes I tend to hide from the direct light or rearrange the subject to avoid it but for this wedding I had the instinct to embrace it and I’m SO happy I did! Because this sweet couple is full of so much love and light. They selflessly rescheduled this day so the mother of the bride could be in great health and enjoy it to its fullest — amazing! They both hand wrote their heartfelt vows and had the most sincere reactions to their closest friends’ speeches — I was having so much fun just waiting and watching for those laughs! Bottom line, my clients are just good people all around, beautiful on the inside and out. Sara + Dave, you are one of a kind and I was truly honored to be a part of your story. Congratulations, yay! Cooper’s parents are married, ya'll! Enjoy this little preview. Oh and a huge shoutout to the cutest three ring bearers ever and one of my favorite photos bombs, haha.

Erin + Dan | Silver Spring Golf Club Wedding

Ivy walls, berries in the bouquets and probably one of my all-time favorite wedding dresses — the back was stunning and so was the bride wearing it! Both Erin + Dan have the biggest smiles and wore them proudly all day, it was hard for them not to. So much raw emotion and happy tears, loved all the happy tears! I think rooftop ceremonies are my new fav and you could definitely feel all the excitement from everyone that entered the venue, ready to celebrate this couple that was so meant to be together! So happy for the new Mr + Mrs Waddell, was honored to tell your wedding story, enjoy this little preview. Ps. The guys’ Packer socks were totally lucky this weekend! Go Pack Go!

Sarah + Justen | Port Washington Wedding

I often hear that people's favorite part of a wedding is watching the groom's reaction when he sees his bride walking down the aisle. As the photographer, I have so many favorite moments but for this wedding, I'd have to agree! Justen didn't hold back his emotions when he saw Sarah and it was the sweetest, most genuine thing I've had the pleasure of photographing. These high school sweethearts had the perfect day and are so very loved by the family and friends that celebrated them! With an amazingly crowded and hopping dance floor and (FINALLY!) a bride + groom that got a little messy with their cake, this wedding was so much fun to be a part of and photograph. I wish nothing but the best for these two and know so much happiness lies ahead. Congrats, Mr + Mrs Hilgart! You did it, you're married! Yay!!!

Emma + Adam | Pabst Brewery | Milwaukee Wedding

Milwaukee has quite a few hidden gems when it comes to venues and the Best Place @ the Pabst Brewery is definitely one of them. Perfect space for this cool, laidback couple to invite their friends + family and have a party celebrating them! Gosh, I say it all the time but I have the best clients. When you feel like a guest and are treated like a friend. When the job just feels like you're hanging out with everyone but happen to be taking photos of gorgeous colored flowers, people drinking tall boys of PBR or a rare "alumni-off" amongst a few represented universities, I mean the maid of honor sang her speech! It's a great thing to witness and I feel honored every single time, a room full of a couples nearest and dearest. Pretty awesome!

Thanks for asking me to be there, Emma + Adam! It was a blast to tell your wedding day story, it was so Milwaukee and it was so you!!!

Stephanie + Aaron | Riveredge Nature Center | Wisconsin Wedding

"You're my lobster," she said at the end of her vows.  Ceremonies in nature make my heart so happy and ones with Friends references make it explode! And while the sun may have shined down extra hard on Saturday, it didn't matter when there was plenty of cold beverages to go around and sweet custom wooden games to play. This wedding was fun, relaxed and just as good as it gets. The details were some of my favorites and this venue always makes my job just a little easier, it's that beautiful!

So happy for the new Mr + Mrs Kaufman and their sweet dog, Skylar, who always seems to steal the show! Please, more dogs at weddings, thank you!

Enjoy! xo Bobbie
